Eve Megargel is the parent of Billy, a 20-year-old son on the autism spectrum. She has extensive experience related to the educational and communication aspects of autism. Specifically, she has been instrumental in designing and implementing communication and literacy curriculum in collaboration with school teams.
In 2005, Eve created an educational program for her son Billy to expand his repertoire of communication initiatives and exchanges. This rewarding and unique home school project and
the history of Billy’s communication endeavors, was subsequently produced as a film. Eve is currently presenting the film to professors parents, and students at the university level who are interested in working with students on theautism spectrum. Eve holds a M.T.S. from Harvard Divinity School and a BA in History and Religion from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
Eve serves on the Jewish Family & Children's Service Board of Advocates and is a member of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children Family Advisory Council.
Susan Sutherland is a self-employed graphic designer with clients in the Greater Boston area. Prior to starting her own business, she was a graphic designer for Ernst & Young, LLP. She is the parent of a 13-year-old son on the autism spectrum and provides visual design services for organizations supporting individuals with ASD. Susan hold a BS in Graphic Design and Visual Communication, Northeastern University.
Susan serves on the Greater Waltham ARC Board of Directors and is the President of the Waltham Special Education Parent Advisory Council. |
